If you are dealing with a powerline project, one of the accessories that you will need is a thimble eye bolt. This overhead line fitting is used for connecting dead end guy grip to the pole. It can also be used for attaching the guy wires to the concrete line.

Thimble eye bolt is a common fitting in electric and communication lines. This is because both the infrastructures have poles. The good thing about this line fitting is it can work on both wooden and concrete poles.

When it comes to the thimble eye bolt design, it can be described as simple. The fitting features a smooth internal curve which is in the middle of the thimble. This ergonomic design allows easy connection to the loop of the guy grip.
